IN OUR CHURCH

Church is not only something we do, it is something we are. We don't just come to church, we also support the running of the church. Our church family supports the activities of the worship service by serving in the Sound Booth, Children's Church, Journey Women's Group, and Journey Men's Group. Family members also maintain the church website, host the Homegroup, clean the church building, handle all the accounting needs, and lead in different ministries.

IN OUR COMMUNITY

Apart from the individual contributions that the Journey family makes in their communities, the church is always considering areas that the Lord has laid on the family's hearts. Currently these include: supporting the homeless (through The Van and In Your Hands ministries). Other special needs are addressed as identified

IN OUR WORLD

Missions - Costa Rica - We have an active ministry with the Cabecar people in Costa Rica that includes monthly support and periodic visits. We support local Costa Rican pastors who have been reaching out to the indigenous Cabecar people for two generations. The local pastors are training members to reach more in their communities through an active discipleship class.

Pakistan - We support new church plants and discipleship activities through a ministry lead by local Pakistanis.

Unreached Peoples - We support a missionary reaching those who have no Bible in their language through developing Bible stories in their language.

Deaf Community - We support a missionary reaching the global Deaf community with The Gospel.

Persecuted Church - We support our family around the world who are suffering for their faith in Jesus Christ through prayer and donations to Open Doors. Brother Andrew's ministry has been working with the persecuted church since 1955 and is currently on the ground supporting Christians in 60 countries.

Christmas Around the World - We are active participants in Operation Christmas Child, sponsored by the Samaritan's Purse organization. Our volunteers stuff shoeboxes with gifts for boys and girls of various ages, and Samaritan's Purse brings Christmas to millions of children around the world. Along with the shoebox, children get the opportunity to learn about Jesus through "The Greatest Journey".
